How to make curtains
1. Prepare the material and choose the impression Curtain making materials include: unbleached tulle, tailor’s pins, needle and thread, thin cardstock, dye on large boards or sheets of white paper, synthetic sponges, erasers, and impressions of choice.
2. Measure the size, cut the window screen to measure the size of the window niche, cut a piece of window screen according to its size, and leave an appropriate margin so that it can be hemmed at the bottom and both sides of the curtain. Make a darker hem at the top of the curtain to allow for the curtain thread. Turn over hem at bottom and sides and sew securely with pins, flat stitches, and heavy thread. Make a darker curl at the top. Arrange the position on the fabric, mark the four corners with pins, turn and move on the fabric to mark the position where the pattern needs to be made.
3. According to preference, put a wooden board or a large piece of clean paper on the work surface to prevent the paint from sticking to the work surface. Lay the fabric on top of the board or paper, right side up, pour the paint into a shallow dish, and apply a little paint to the impression with a sponge-like eraser. Press the fabric with one hand, when making a pattern, press the stamp on the fabric, hold it for a few seconds and then remove it quickly, repeat this until all the prints are completed according to the design requirements, then dry or blow dry and repair color.
4. Sew the corners, and you’re done. Align the two pieces of cloth and sew three stitches with fine stitches, then insert the needle, wind the silk thread seventeen times on the needle, pull the needle out, Tighten the silk thread to make a taut loop, and sew another stitch to secure it, and repeat the same method every third stitch to make more loops. Then hang the curtains directly on the curtain rod and you are good to go.
