The PROFLO PFTPR500 trap primer valve is engineered to reliably prime one or two floor drains when integrated with a distribution unit, making it an ideal solution for commercial and residential applications that require consistent drain performance. Designed for a 1/2″ pipe connection, the valve works seamlessly with standard plumbing configurations and can service up to six floor drains from a single installation, reducing the need for multiple individual primers.

Activation of the priming function occurs when the system pressure drops by at least 10 psig (70 kPa), ensuring that the valve only operates under genuine low‑pressure conditions. The valve operates efficiently within a pressure range of 20 psig to 80 psig (138 kPa to 552 kPa), providing flexibility for a variety of water supply systems.
