Secure your propane tank with Hart's Hearth & Homestead safety plugs, engineered to close off and seal POL valves when the tank is not in use. Designed with a slightly loose fit to prevent binding, each plug features a durable rubber O‑ring that creates a tight, leak‑free seal around the valve, making transport and storage far safer.

These plugs are made in the USA and are intended for standard POL valves only; they are not compatible with OPD or QCC1 valves on 20‑40 lb tanks. For those valve types, Hart's Hearth offers dedicated threaded plugs. Simply tighten the plug onto the valve, and the O‑ring will maintain a secure seal until the tank is ready for service.
