Forged Carbon Steel PRV Valve – 2″ FNPT

A high-performance forged carbon steel pressure-reducing valve (PRV) designed for residential, commercial, and light industrial water systems. This inline piston check valve automatically stabilizes incoming water pressure within a preset range, safeguarding downstream plumbing, fixtures, and appliances from damage caused by surges, water hammer, or excessive pressure. With a robust 2,000 psi max rating and a temperature range of 0°F to 800°F, it ensures reliable operation across standard cold-water systems and even high-temperature applications.

The valve features a single-flow inline piston mechanism with FNPT x FNPT connections for easy installation without pipe cutting. A built-in removable 304 stainless steel strainer filters out sediment, sand, and debris, prolonging valve lifespan by protecting internal components. Additionally, an integrated thermal expansion bypass relief prevents dangerous pressure buildup from hot water expansion in closed plumbing systems, reducing the risk of pipe bursts or appliance failure. A pressure-gauge port is included for optional real-time monitoring.
